The 32nd issue of the Museum Compass, Learning by Doing is a special publication in many ways. It is published in English because it presents the results of an international project, entitled Capacity Building in partnership across borders for future museums. One of the aims of the project, led by the MOKK in partnership with two Slovak institutions, Košický Samosprávny Kraj and K13 Košické Kultúrne Centrá, is to serve as an inspiration for international partnerships. This volume serves as a collection of good practices and a methodological publication at the same time. It not only contains a description of the project activities but also puts them in a broader context to present the previous activities that have crawled the need for that particular project element.
