Call for papers for 10. National and 6. International Conference on “Museum reflection: Society and Environment
The Pulszky Society – Hungarian Museum Association is pleased to announce a call for papers for its 10. National and 6. International Conference on “Museum reflection: Society and Environment”, which will be held on 8-9 May 2023 in Miskolc, Hungary.
As part of the Hungarian-language conference, a hybrid-format English-language session will be organized on the following topic:
Museum learning and the socio-economic environment
The English-language session of the conference examines the role that museum learning can play in promoting the adaptation of various groups and members of society to the rapidly and constantly changing socio-economic environment, as well as in strengthening resilience.
We are inviting proposals for the English language international session of the conference.
Date: 8 May 2023, 2.30-4.00 pm, CET
Location: Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Regional Committee in Miskolc, 3530 Miskolc, Erzsébet tér 3., Room “Deák”.
In the international session, we provide opportunities for participants to give their presentations online.
Participation in the conference is free of charge for those colleagues who give their presentation online
in the English language session and who do not participate in other programs of the conference.
Presentation timing: 15 min.

Deadline for proposals: 7 April 2023
Proposals should include:
• Presenter name, title, organization
• Title of the presentation
• Brief description of the presentation (1200-1500 characters)
• Online / in-person presention

We provide the opportunity to publish the lectures given at the conference in the double-blind peerreviewed
journal of the University of Pécs, Tudásmenedzsment.
