Museum online communication

The Museum online communication is a two-day training for those who wish to discover and take advantage of the possibilities offered by the Internet for museums.

Training date: The training is organized on demand for a minimum of 10 participants.

Training duration : 2 days

Location: Hungarian Open Air Museum - Museum Education and Methodology Centre Szentendre, Sztaravodai út.

The planned number of trainees: min. 10 people, max. 20 people.

- to make virtual display of an exhibition

Internet presence - without own website, or an outdated website

We tell you
- what should be released on free online platforms in order to increase awareness of the museum
- how to make a more up-to-date and interesting website
- how to prepare a presentation in Prezi

E-learning - 21st century educational tool

We will teach you ways to integrate e-learning and how it can be used as a form of training in modern museums.

Social media - all you need to know

Social media is no longer just on Facebook. We take you through the most popular social media outlets and give you advice about the museum uses.

Internet marketing - a minimum of fuss

We present online marketing tools (Google Adwords, Facebook campaigns, etc), and we will demonstrate how even a little budget available can make an effective presence.

Entry fee: 19.900 Ft / person.

The participation fee does not include the cost of meals.

The refreshments and lunch cost: 4,000 / person per day for 2 days.




Certificate

Upon completion of the training a certificate is issued acknowledging that the participant has successfully completed the 2-day course.

A prerequisite before the certificate is issued is a preparation (max. 3 pages) of a short report about how the student will utilize the knowledge learnt at the training at their own institution, and how they will apply this knowledge in the near future.
